		<description>Downtown Seattle does need more residential development, and that area of downtown is an interesting place for it, since it's right between Pike Place Market and the downtown retail area. It's improving, but that Pike Street corridor is still rough enough that a lot of people avoid it and go a block north or south when they walk from the Market to Westlake Center. Hopefully the new towers will include the types of public spaces at ground-level that will make it better to walk through there.</description>
