Welcome to Seattle Real Estate Talk.

We’ve created this site for home buyers and sellers as a place to find current, accurate, and fair-minded information about real estate. Our focus is on Seattle, but we hope that the information you’ll find online here will be helpful no matter where you live.

Our focus is on encouraging open conversations among buyers, sellers, and service providers, as we strongly believe this will lead to better agents, better consumers, and a healthier market. We hope to provide a forum for sophisticated and thoughtful discourse of real estate issues in an atmosphere that is relaxed, casual, and encourages discussion. We will strive to maintain a neutral, unbiased tone, accepting of all views and approaches to the buying and selling of property.

Who we are

Stuart and Louise Maxwell work together to write and edit Seattle Real Estate Talk. Stuart combines his experience as a performer and writer with his interest in computers to create online media content. Louise is a practicing real estate agent with Windermere in West Seattle.

The Seattle Podcasting Network is a community of podcasters in the Seattle area. They promote podcasting in the Pacific Northwest and provide instruction and encouragement for those just getting into the scene.
